| By pushing the switch to the "down" position, the rack cover opens and a mechanical arm lowers the wheelchair safely from the roof to the ground at the open door without damage to the car. During the operation of the mechanical arm, the wheelchair does not extend any further than the length of the open car door. | |

| By pressing the metal handle, the wheelchair is freed from the mechanical arm; by pushing the switch to the "up" position, the mechanical arm rises and the rack cover closes. The user is then free and mobile. | |
The GZ-91 is produced by the Gottlieb Company based in Israel;
it is the result of years of research and development in close cooperation
with the handicapped in Israel.
The GZ-91 leaves the Israeli plant only when it has undergone
the most careful tests by the experts of Gottlieb Company.
The GZ-91 fits any car like any standard luggage rack and can
be easily transferred to another car without scratching or otherwise damaging
the roof.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
FRAME AND MECHANICAL ARM - made of especially tough rustproof steel.
RACK COVER - made of fiberglass, waterproof and provides general protection
against weather.
MOTOR - is insulated against water. It is produced by R.A.E. ltd.,
an American company, and meets the standards of the U.S. Navy.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - is powered by the car battery and uses less power
than parking lights.
ATTACHMENT TO ROOF - with rustproof clips and by a special method which
does not damage the roof of the car.
WARRANTY AND MAINTENANCE
The GZ-91 is covered by a one-year warranty. The frame and the
mechanical arm are guaranteed for life against rust. Upon expiry of the
warranty, a special insurance coverage is available on request.
The GZ-91 is easy to maintain: lubrification is needed once
every six months.
